Connect 2019: Know Before You Go

Connect 2019 is almost upon us! We’re excited to see so many of our customers in Tucson next week for a time of training, learning, networking, and fun. For those that will be attending Connect, here are a few things to know and remember leading up to the conference.

Who, What, When, Where, Why

Hundreds of T2 customers, several vendor partners, and dozens of T2 staff will be converging on the JW Marriott Starr Pass Resort in Tucson, AZ from November 18-21 for T2’s annual Connect user conference. Connect 2019 will offer over 100 training sessions and roundtables on T2 solutions and industry topics, ample opportunities to network with fellow T2 customers, updates on what solutions T2 has in store for the future, and several fun events to celebrate all the ways we are better together.

Download the T2 Connect app

Be sure to download the T2 Connect mobile app before departing for Tucson. Available on iOS and Android, the app is you go-to resource for all things Connect 2019. With the app, you can explore the detailed conference schedule, create your own custom agenda, get timely reminders of can’t-miss special events, interact with other attendees to expand your network, schedule meetings with vendors in the Exhibitor Showcase, and share updates and photos.

Click here to access the download links for both iOS and Android. Once downloaded, enter the email you used to register for Connect (If you’re unsure, check your conference registration confirmation) and the password Connect.

First time attending Connect?

If this is your first year attending a T2 Connect conference, we’d first like to say how excited we are to have you! If you haven’t already, we recommend that you register for the First-Time Attendee Session on Monday, November 18 at 6 PM. We’ll have some icebreakers to help you get to know some of your fellow attendees, as well as some information on what to expect for the week. To add this session to your registration for no cost, follow this link. We also have a helpful blog post with some tips and tricks on getting the most out of Connect.

What to expect

We have an exciting, jam-packed four days planned for Connect 2019. Monday night we have our aforementioned First-Time Attendee Session, as well as a Welcome Reception for all attendees that have arrived in Tucson. Tuesday morning begins with our Opening Session and Product Roadmap, followed by a full day of training sessions. Another full day of training follows on Wednesday, with our Keynote Speaker Ben Nemtin at 4:15 PM and our Customer Appreciation Party and After Glow later that night. We wrap up on Thursday with some more training sessions before the conference concludes at 3 PM. You can download the full schedule here or find it in the T2 Connect app.

Get your training on

We have over 100 training sessions and roundtables this year, covering PARCS, pay stations, permits, enforcement, reporting, operations, and much more. Two sessions will be held in our general session hall on Wednesday: Optimizing a Parking Operation with LPR by Michael Hamilton and Curbside Management: Not Just a Concept by Michael Drow. We are also excited to offer two sessions that will provide you with credit toward your CAPP certification: Parking & Mobility: Industry Fundamentals and Developing Organizational Agility, both led by IPMI Senior Training and Development Specialist Cindy Campbell.

Party like it’s 1994

For this year’s Connect Customer Appreciation Party, we’re celebrating our 25th anniversary by throwing it back to our ’90s roots! Wednesday night’s party will feature ‘90s-themed music and décor, so feel free to break out the hammer pants or grungy flannels if you feel so inclined…

Help us support a great cause

As part of Connect 2019, we’re raising funds for Make-a-Wish Arizona to help grant wishes for children with critical illnesses. All donations will be matched by T2. For your donation, you’ll be entered to win some great prizes, including the top prize: registration and hotel for 4 nights at next year’s Connect! You can donate in-person at Connect by cash or check, or online with a credit card here.
